This may include, in particular, the following data:

Hosting and server log files

Our website is based on WordPress and is hosted by GoDaddy.

When you visit our website, the hosting infrastructure may automatically collect technical data and store it in server log files. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, browser information, operating system and technical information about the connection.

This data is needed in particular to provide the website technically, to ensure its stability and security, and to detect technical errors and abusive access.

As part of providing hosting services, data may also be processed by GoDaddy and its subprocessors. GoDaddy lists, among others, Amazon Web Services as an infrastructure and network service provider (see GoDaddy's list of subprocessors).

We provide a contact form on our website.

If you use this form, we process the information you enter. This includes, in particular, your name, email address, phone number if provided, and the content of your message.

06

Spam and abuse protection

To protect our forms against automated spam messages and misuse, we use WP Armour – Honeypot Anti Spam.

This uses so-called honeypot techniques, which allow automated entries to be detected without website visitors having to solve a classic CAPTCHA, for example.

The processing serves in particular to protect our website and communication systems against spam and automated attacks.

07

Cookies and technically necessary functions

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies are small files stored in the browser or on the device of a website visitor. They may be necessary in particular to provide technical functions of the website, save settings or ensure the security and stability of the website.

Based on the WordPress configuration we currently use and have reviewed, we do not use any analytics or advertising tracking services of our own such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

Where technically necessary cookies are used, they serve in particular to provide the website and keep it functioning.

You can configure your browser to restrict or block cookies. However, this may mean that some functions of a website no longer work fully.

08

Caching

We use WP Super Cache to improve the loading speed and technical performance of our website.

Website content is cached so that it can be delivered more quickly on subsequent visits. This serves the technical optimisation and efficient delivery of our website.

09

Multilingual content

We use Polylang to provide our website in several languages.

The plugin enables different language versions of our content to be managed and displayed. Where technical settings are stored, they serve in particular to provide the language version requested by the visitor.

10

Embedded content and external links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

If you follow such a link, you leave our website. The respective operators are generally responsible for the processing of personal data on external websites.

Should external content such as videos, maps, social media content or other services be embedded directly into our website in future, a connection to the respective provider's servers may be established. This privacy policy will be updated accordingly in the event of significant changes to the services we use.

11

Data transfers abroad

When using external service providers, personal data may also be processed outside Switzerland.

With our current technical infrastructure, this concerns in particular international providers such as GoDaddy and Microsoft and, where applicable, their subprocessors.

For such transfers, we ensure that the requirements of the applicable data protection law are met. These may include, in particular, adequacy decisions, recognised data protection frameworks or contractual data protection safeguards.

GoDaddy states that it participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (GoDaddy notice). Microsoft also declares its participation in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Microsoft privacy statement).

12

Retention period

We generally store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Enquiries submitted via the contact form and related correspondence may be retained in particular for as long as necessary to process the enquiry, for any resulting business relationship, for documentation purposes or to meet legal obligations.

The data is then deleted or anonymised, unless there are legal or legitimate grounds for further retention.

13

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.

Our website is transmitted in particular via an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Despite appropriate security measures, absolute security cannot be guaranteed when transmitting data over the internet.
